Improving the standards within Supermarkets has always been close to our heart. There are two major reasons for this. Firstly our Managing Director Jonathan Winchester worked in a regional training role at Gateways in the 1990’s, and in Australasia Shopper Anonymous were the leading provider in this sector, with visits to close to a 1,000 supermarkets on a regular basis.
Our appreciation of the food sector and the depth of our feedback ensure the results can be used to coach and train the staff at the customer coalface. We have worked with groups such as Booths, Jempson’s and some Budgens stores to name a few.
Typically we provide the following key services to supermarkets:
- Mystery Shopping
- Scenario Mystery Shopping*
- Customer Service Training
- Sales Training
- Management Team Motivation
*Scenario mystery shopping is where we mystery shop a key aspect of the service offering. For example, selling alcohol to under-aged (or customers who appear under-age) customers. If the team member asks for recognition and follows the proper procedure we would give them “on the spot recognition.”
